An error has been identified in the migration category variant and zero net migration variant subnational population projections by single year of age and sex. These were released from an earlier version of our projections system and were not the final versions of the dataset. The following datasets were affected and updated:
- Death projections for local authorities by single year of age and sex, England
- Births projections for local authorities by age of mother, England
- Internal migration projections for local authorities by single year of age and sex, England
- International migration projections for local authorities by single year of age and sex, England
- Population projections for local authorities by single year of age and sex, England
- Cross-border migration projections for local authorities by single year of age and sex, England
We will review the production processes for this release and take steps to further improve the quality of our processes for developing subnational population projections.
