Dataset Regional gross value added (balanced) by industry: local authorities by ITL1 region

Correction

17 April 2025

We have corrected an error in the population estimates by local authority dataset. The previous version included imputed population estimates for local authorities in Northern Ireland in 2023, where official estimates are not yet available. It should have suppressed these imputed figures, as they are not official population estimates and are therefore unreliable.

This happened because of a human error.

About this Dataset

Annual estimates of balanced UK regional gross value added (GVA(B)). Current price estimates, chained volume measures and implied deflators for local authority districts, London boroughs, unitary authorities and Scottish Council areas, with a detailed industry breakdown.
